Discovery Christian School is a ministry of Christ’s Church in Effingham, IL. Kindergarten through 8th Grades opened for the 2021-2022 school year. We are excited with this expansion of Discovery Garden Preschool, which has been in operation since 2004. To learn more, check out our History.

DCS Preschool is concerned with the total development of children and the program is designed to help students grow academically, spiritually, physically, and emotionally.
During a child’s formative years, DCS Elementary teachers and staff work with parents to establish a strong foundation for learning during this important time of development.
Students in the middle school program at DCS, will be taught that growth in their individual areas of
giftedness and interest are a means to glorify God.
Discovery Christian School exists to glorify God by providing students with excellent academic, social, and Bible-based education, so they will become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
